How to Get Naloxone for Free

Naloxone, also known as NARCAN® Nasal Spray, is a life-saving medication that can reverse opioid overdose. Naloxone:

  • Can prevent a fatal overdose.
  • Is safe to use on everyone—from infants to older adults.
  • Is available for free at many locations in Connecticut. Your information will be kept confidential.
  • Is easy to use. Watch this short video to see how it works.   

Add naloxone to your first aid kit. Visit one of the locations listed below; please call ahead to confirm location hours and naloxone availability.

If you are a college student, check with your campus health center about
getting free naloxone. Many campuses have it available.
